On May 21, 2024 a Solidarity manifestation supporting political prisoners in Belarus was held in the center of Wroclaw near the fountain.
The protesters joined to express their solidarity with those people who are in prisone and are fighting for Belarusian freedom and independence.
The words of activists and representatives of the Belarusian diaspora which were announced during the action, reminded everyone of our compatriots in prisons. Participants also remembered the names of those who died in this struggle, defending their rights under international arrangements.
Belarusians in Wroclaw emphasized that they do not plan to stop, but will continue to take part to demonstrate our solidarity until all political prisoners are released. Joint efforts will ensure the release of all people who were unjustly convicted in Belarus.
