On June 7, the Belarusian Community of Wrocław will take part in “Miasteczko Równości,” one of the events within the Wrocław Equality March program. The community is joining because human rights, non-discrimination, and solidarity are core values it upholds.
Community representatives draw attention to the challenges faced by the Belarusian queer community, including repression and discrimination both within Belarus and abroad. The organizers emphasize that visibility, support, and mutual respect are essential elements of a democratic society.
During the event, the Belarusian community’s stand will feature:
– a quiz on LGBTQ+ topics in Belarus and globally
– sweet treats for winners
– informational materials
– and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere
Location and time:
📍 Plac Wolności, Wrocław
🕚 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
The organizers invite everyone to visit the stand and join the dialogue in a spirit of mutual respect and support.
Together — for equality without borders!
